50/50 Raffle

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #129202

    3 for $5.00; 3600 tickets
    7 for $10.00; 2100 tickets
    50 for $20.00; 1500 tickets
    150 for $50.00; 1200 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $5,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: October 8, 2021 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: October 8, 2021 at 5:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at 11-1529 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6J 1W6

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://bclupussociety.rafflenexus.com/winners on October 8, 2021.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the BC Lupus Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the BC Lupus Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

    BC Lupus Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

The BC Lupus Society is the only organization in the province dedicated solely to providing lupus education and support services. We have been in operation for 44 years and we are committed to sponsoring research and providing hope for those affected by lupus. The BC Lupus Society is incorporated provincially and provides a wide variety of services through its Public Education, Support and Awareness Program which benefits an estimated 6,000 to 8,000 BC lupus sufferers and up to 40,000 BC residents when including the patient’s extended personal network of family and caregivers.  Support of the BC Lupus Society is particularly critical now more than ever, when people affected by lupus have found themselves among the most vulnerable.  Funds raised through gaming events will go directly to our BC Lupus Scholar, Dr. Antonio Aviña-Zubieta, and his team as they further research that brings us 1 step closer to eradicating the disease.  For more information on ways you can support the BC Lupus Society, please visit www.bclupus.org.
